Vince Chan, former accountant, power banker and billion dollar investment manager, understands that the future-become-present requires urgent action on the part of education authorities, businesses, parents, EdTech companies and the financial forces that support and drive innovation.
Vince uses the lessons she learnt at some of the world’s most reputable firms to support radical new approaches to human capital development. Creta Ventures, a venture capital company she co-founded with TUSMaker Global Network, a corporate affiliate of Tsinghua University, invests in global education technology and learning innovations that provide solutions for a rapidly changing work, education and skills ecosystem.
Vince is also the Co-Founder of the Chicago Booth Angels Network in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area, where she spearheads the development of a venture capital talent base in China. Not only does the Network develop investment talents who, in turn, invest in innovative founders, it also drives and improves capital availability for innovative founders.
Between juggling her professional roles, Vince still finds time to serve as expert advisor to Schwarzman Scholars at Tsinghua University, and entrepreneurs from the New Venture Challenge at the University of Chicago.
Professionally trained as C.P.A. and CFA Charterholder, Vince holds B.Comm. and M.B.A. degrees from the University of Toronto, Yale University and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
