Ricardo Santos leads the Education Market Development for Cisco Systems in Latin America, working closely with Governments, Universities and Schools across the region to help them plan and integrate digital transformation technologies with their academic strategies, to meet the requirements of teaching, learning, operational efficiencies and digital citizenship that are most relevant for the 21st century environment.
As part of his Corporate Executive career of over 30 years in the IT industry, Ricardo has taken a number of strategic and leadership positions within world-class technology players to support different types of organizations across Latin America, in enhancing their processes and customer experience with the use of digital technologies.
During the past 17 years, Ricardo has also developed an Academic Career as a University Professor in some of the top Business Schools in Brazil – with focus in teaching MBA courses in the areas of Marketing, and Competitive Strategy. His area of research is on Learning Technologies, Work Skills and the Socio-Economy Development.
Ricardo Holds a Master Degree in Business Administration from Duke University (USA) and a Post-Grad Degree in Advanced Management from INSEAD – European Institute of Business Administration, (France).
